Garden lawn
A garden lawn stimulates your senses with visual beauty and wonderful fragrances. It may give you a quiet area where you can relax. A garden lawn also cools off the surrounding area. An attractive lawn will emphasize trees, flowers and plants. Shapes of lawns can give different appearances such as formal or informal. The type of grass you use depends on your personal needs or how much sun your yard receives. If you have children or entertain frequently than you’ll probably want a durable grass such as Bermuda or Bluegrass. Many durable grasses can handle extreme heat and intense moisture.
A garden lawn that’s well kept is beautiful. Taking care of garden lawn may be enjoyable, but you have to give it regular maintenance. It’s important to water your lawn but don’t overdo it unless the temperature is very high. Weed control is also important because it can remove moisture and nutrients form the soil. You can pull out weeds by hand or use a manual or powered rotary cultivator if you have a lot of weeds. Don’t get to close to vegetables or flowers if you use a cultivator. Organic mulching may also keep weeds at bay. When you add organic mulch to soil underneath an existing lawn, it restores health or keeps the lawn healthy.
Another way to maintain the look of a lawn garden is mowing. Only cut about 1/3 of the grass height. This way the soil will get more shade which reduces heat on the lawn. Keep your lawn mower approximately two inches from the previous line you cut to help keep your lawn looking its best. Problems may arise on a lawn garden such as disease or thinness. One way to fix your lawn is to sow thick seed. Put garden fabric or some other kind of protection over the area you’re repairing. Make sure you water it.
